Why Petal Cleanse™?

What is Petal Cleanse™?

Petal Cleanse™™/C for cats and Petal Cleanse™™/D for dogs, are clear, colorless liquids composed of a delicate balance of Cleanse™rs and moisturizers that gently remove the dander, saliva and urine from the coat, and encapsulate the allergy-causing compounds known as Fel d1 and Can f1, as well as other microscopic allergens. The moisturizers condition the coat and skin to further reduce the amount of material shed.

Is Petal Cleanse™ Safe and/or Natural?

Petal Cleanse™™ /C and /D are clear, mildly-scented solutions for your pet’s coat comprised of a delicate balance of Cleanse™rs and moisturizers containing: quarternium salts from the UK, glycerin, amino-acids, B vitamins, aloe vera gel, rosemary and lime flower extracts. The Cleanse™rs gently remove the dander saliva and urine from the coat, and encapsulate the Fel d1, Can f1 and microscopic allergens utilizing this unique proprietary blend of ingredients. The moisturizers condition the coat and skin to further reduce the amount of material shed.

What Causes Pet Allergies?

Agents that Cause the Allergic Reactions:
Any animal with fur or feathers can cause the reaction but cats tend to evoke the most severe response followed by male rabbits, guinea pigs & hamsters; birds, dogs & horses; female small animals. Contrary to popular belief, it is not the hair or the feathers per se that cause the problem so the reactions are equally prevalent with breeds that do not shed their coats or moult. The reactions are caused by potent allergens that come from the saliva, sweat glands, urine or droppings of the pets (ie. Fel d1 in cats and Can f1 in dogs). The microscopic allergens become airborne and the environment becomes polluted. When the body comes into contact with these allergens, the immune system triggers a response with IgE. Allergic people and pets cannot cope with certain allergens, which results in a tremendous amount of histamine trying to "flood" the affected area and rid the body of the foreign particles. It is these histamines which cause all of the classic symptoms of an allergies which include asthma, eczema, hives, sneezing, wheezing, runny nose and tearing eyes. The standard approach by the medical community to treat these symptoms is to recommend that the patient dispose of the animal causing the allergies and/or to take both over-the-counter and prescription medications that systemically stop and prevent the body from producing too much histamine. Is Petal Cleanse™ Easy to Use?

The instructions for use are very simple:
--Brush or comb your pet to remove any dead hair;
--Moisten a sponge or cloth with Petal Cleanse™™;
--Wipe your pet with the moist sponge or cloth both with & against the coat;
--Allow to air dry or lightly towel dry (keep animal away from drafts). Licking and grooming after applying Petal Cleanse™ is 100% safe and is actually beneficial.

The solution must be used ONCE A WEEK to keep the level of allergen down to an acceptable level in your home environment forever!
